I have lived and worked in London since 1995, working firstly as a sports broadcaster for the BBC on Radio 1 and Radio 5Live (I used to read the sport live on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show!), before moving to GMTV where I was an on-screen news, sport and showbiz reporter. Over the years, I have also worked for ITN and Sky, plus I’ve written for publications as diverse as The Sunday Mirror magazine and Nuts. My CV is extensive!
As you can see, I have mostly specialised in news, sport and showbiz in the past but I am knowledgeable about health and medical issues too – I have been volunteering at University College Hospital in London for the past three years, mainly in the Accident and Emergency department.
Each week, in my new role here, I am going to be scouring the media for health and beauty stories which will be of interest to Face Clinic clients and I’ll then investigate them with the help of our doctors.
