You are right that there are many good health care professionals providing good treatments at a client’s home. However there may be the rare occasion that you may not be able to predict from a person’s medical history whether they will have a “bad reaction” such as anaphylaxis. Would all the equipment be available in the practitioner’s bag to adequately account for these rare but possible events? My other concern about practicing from a clients home is whether a clean / suitable work surface would be available, adequate lighting and a comfortable bed position so that you can administer the treatment correctly with ease.

I KNOW SEVERAL DOCTORS AND NURSES WHO PRACTICE BOTOX/FILLER ADMINISTRATION, WHO ARE NOT ONLY VERY GOOD, VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT ALSO PERFORM PROCEDURES AT THE PERSONS HOME, WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS. IF A PERSON WANTS BOTOX, BUT WHO IS LIKELY TO HAVE A BAD REACTION TO THE TOXIN (DUE TO PAST MEDICAL HISTORY) THEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THE PROCEDURE DONE AT ALL. I DONT BELIEVE THAT THE VENUE MAKES ANY DIFFERENCE. IF THE PRACTITIONER IS QUALIFIED, INSURED AND THE PATIENT HAS BEEN APPROPRIATELY CHECKED ( PMH, ALLERGIES, GP CONSULTATION, CONSENTED) THEN I DO NOT SEE ANY ISSUES.
