  1. In my opinion, the best ant-wrinkle cream/lotion/serum, etc. out there is eteihr sunscreen or sunblock. That'd be number one. Second would be a Vitamin C serum (L-Ascorbic Acid) and third would be a Vitamin E Antioxidants that protect against free radical damage.The thing with retinol is, it makes your skin super sensitive to the sun and thus, not only would you also have to wear sunscreen/sunblock everyday but if you don't or forget to reapply your sunscreen/sunblock, you'll just be causing more damage to your very sun-sensitive skin.All in all, however, I don't think it is ever too young to use products to protect your skin (and thus, protect against premature wrinkles and skin aging). Depending on your age, if you're in your teens or early to late twenties, I'd say Vitamin C, E, and sunscreen/sunblock is the best thing to use. Retinol would come in, in my opinion, in mid-forties to so on after.
